Lucie has a focus on all aspects of family law, with a particular emphasis on high net worth complex financial disputes.
She was included in The Lawyer Hot 100 Lawyers for 2007, for her role in representing Melissa Miller.
Lucie was featured in The Times as Lawyer of the Week in January 2008.
Lucie acted for Melissa Miller in the landmark House of Lords case of Miller v Miller. Melissa was awarded £5m after a marriage of just under 3 years. The decision of the High Court Judge was upheld by the House of Lords in May 2006.
Lucie represented the successful husband Stuart Crossley in the December 2007 Court of Appeal decision in connection with the enforceability of pre-nuptial agreements - a decision which received extensive press coverage.
Before joining Withers, Lucie acted for the successful party in the landmark Court of Appeal case Payne v Payne which established the test for parents wanting to remove their children to another jurisdiction.
