Overview
Mark focuses on divorce and family law, in particular international cases and those involving trusts. He also deals with pre-nuptial and pre-civil partnership agreements.
Mark was ranked in the top five family solicitors by Spears Wealth Management in 2010 and was described as "clever" and "particularly well suited to complex and international cases".

Highlights
Mark acted for John Charman throughout his case including the landmark Court of Appeal decision in 2007; the largest award to a wife on a contested basis in English legal history.
In 2008, Mark made new law and practice acting for Stuart Crossley in a leading Court of Appeal case on pre-nups.
In 2010, Mark acted in the jurisdiction case of JKN v JCN involving a transatlantic dispute about the appropriate forum for a divorce.
Publications and speaking engagements
Mark is the co-author of three leading text books on family law: 'International Trusts and Divorce Litigation' and 'Civil Partnership - The New Law' and ‘Model Letters for Family Lawyers', all published by Jordans.
He is a regular commentator on family law issues in the national written press and TV, having appeared on BBC News and Radio 4's Today programme and written for the Times as well as numerous legal publications such as Family Law.
Mark regularly lectures both in England and abroad in offshore jurisdictions on a broad range of family law issues, especially trusts ion divorce and pre nuptial agreements.
Memberships
Mark is a Fellow of the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, of which he was Treasurer for four years. He is also a member of the Law Society (and was a member of their Cohabitation Working Party for some years) and Resolution.
On a personal note
Mark has a keen interest in architecture, foreign travel and classic cars.
