Overview
Sue is a partner in the Contentious Trust and Succession Group. She specialises in all types of trust (offshore and domestic) and probate disputes, acting for both beneficiaries and trustees or personal representatives, including disputes relating to the validity of wills, Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 claims, construction and rectification of wills and trusts, and disputes over estate and trust administration including professional charges and investment disputes. Sue also advises trustees, husbands/wives where trusts are challenged on divorce.
Citywealth 2011 - Sue is listed in Leading Lawyers List as a 'prominent figure' within Contentious Trusts.
Chambers 2012 - describes Sue as "a household name as a wills expert, having presented 'Can't Take It with You', a TV show advising on will making and avoiding the pitfalls of intestacy.
