Overview

Lindsay focuses on international tax and trusts work, including advising individuals, trustees and financial institutions on UK tax, wills and trusts, personal tax and estate planning, UK and cross-border tax and succession issues (particularly for non-domiciled UK residents) and UK tax and residence issues for individuals moving to and from the UK.  She also advises on the creation, implementation and restructuring of multi-jurisdictional wealth-holding structures for clients with international interests, fiduciary issues for trustees and voluntary disclosures under the Liechtenstein Disclosure Facility (LDF).

She spent several years working in the Netherlands for a leading Dutch law firm and has a particular interest in cross-border UK/Dutch tax issues.

Publications and speaking engagements

  • Contributed UK chapter (in Dutch) to 2007 and 2009 editions of 'Handboek boedelafwikkeling' (a Dutch textbook on administration of estates). 
  • Contributed to the 5th edition of McCutcheon on Inheritance Tax.
