Winning Law.com International’s Law Firm of the Year award is a great validation of our dramatic growth trajectory and our efforts in business sustainability.
Our growth has been driven solely by our aim to be the leading international law firm for private capital, advising founders, investors and change makers around the world, and has accordingly seen us broaden our network and the range of services we offer our clients so that we can meet all of their needs, wherever they are based. Highlights of this wide-ranging expansion include opening new office locations in Boston and in Texas, the latter our first virtual office. We have launched an international tech team to help our clients capitalise on the incredible opportunities that the tech and data revolution offers, and have also substantially built up our white collar and investigations capabilities to manage the growing risks that high profile people face.
With over 20 new partner hires since January 2021 alone, we have built up the strength and depth of important teams such as our litigation practices in Asia, Europe and the US, and our employment practice in the US, which has a special focus on founders and entrepreneurs.
The awards judges also highlighted our strong diversity statistics, noting that we are the only firm to be featured amongst the top 25 of all of Law.com's diversity rankings this year, including for female equity partners, non-white equity partners and LGBTQ lawyers, amongst other metrics. Furthermore, they recognised our achievements and strong commitment to pro bono work and ESG and the energy efficiency of our London office. These projects, and our work with clients who are driving positive change in the world, are achievements we are very proud of.
