Throughout our history, we have championed our clients’ interests locally and globally and are proud to help them use their success to make the world a better place. As an international law firm, we recognize that environmental degradation and climate change are serious threats, and it is our responsibility to reduce our environmental impact globally.

Our operations team seeks to run our firm in an environmentally conscious manner, including conserving natural resources and energy, and reducing our global carbon footprint. Our environmental sustainability objectives – low carbon, circular economy and education and engagement – reflect our environmentally conscious philosophy and aim to enhance the experience of all of our colleagues, clients and visitors. To these ends, we aim to reduce our carbon footprint in line with the Paris Agreement and are working towards setting a science-based target, with a view of becoming net zero before 2050.
Lawyers in our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practice advise clients in different industries. We provide a wide range of legal services, from tax and regulatory advice on impact investing, negotiating ESG requirements, advising on applicable grants and incentives to providing advice on sustainable financing and sustainability reporting and disclosures. Also, through our global pro bono programme, we offer free legal services to non-profits focused on sustainability and environmental protection.
