Withers wins Private Wealth Law Firm of the Year award at ALB Hong Kong Awards 2022

Withers has been named ‘Private Wealth Law Firm of the Year’ at the 21st Kingfisher ALB Hong Kong Law Awards ceremony held at Hong Kong Island Shangri-La and The Ritz-Carlton. The full-service private client and tax team in Hong Kong was recognised for its depth of expertise and experience in advising high net worth individuals, their families and their advisers, including family offices. Withers advises more than 35% of individuals and families listed in Forbes’ Hong Kong Rich List and more than a third of Southeast Asia’s billionaires.

Family partner Jocelyn Tsao was named ‘Young Lawyer of the Year’ – truly a testament to the firm’s commitment towards cultivating the next generation of young lawyers, and was listed as Asia’s top 40 lawyers under the age of 40 by ALB. At 38, she has earned the distinction of being one of the youngest lawyers to head the matrimonial team in Hong Kong. Jocelyn has been involved in some of the most high-profile cases to come before the courts in Hong Kong, one of which is the landmark case before the Court of First Instance where same-sex parents may now apply to have equal parental rights over their children.
