Gabriela Ghelman

Gabriela is an associate in the private client and tax team.

Gabriela works with high-net-worth clients and with the issues concerning their estate and succession planning. Her practice focuses on elaborating and executing arrangements for businessmen, entrepreneurs, and families with second and third generations concerns. She has participated in many of those cases, with different types of issues and levels of complexity: from setting up structures both in Brazil and abroad to drafting and executing pre-nuptial agreements and wills. Gabriela also acted in several international child-abduction proceedings (Hague Convention).

Her career began at well-known law firm in Brazil, as a member of their Trusts, Estates and Family Law Team. Gabriela holds a Bachelor’s in Law degree from Fundação Getulio Vargas and received her LL.M from Columbia Law School.
