Zoe James

Zoe supports our global responsibility groups  – diversity, equity and inclusion, environment, giving back, pro bono and wellbeing – with responsibility initiatives, projects, events and campaigns. 

Withers is placing an increased focus on business responsibility  across our global firm, both internally for our people and externally for our clients. Internally, we have a responsibility  framework that includes the areas described above. Zoe is particularly involved in measuring, reporting and mitigating our carbon emissions, coordinating charity fundraising and tracking and communicating our responsibility activities.

Zoe is an internationally experienced sustainability professional having worked for sustainable development charities before restructuring her knowledge and experience towards the business case for sustainability. Zoe believes passionately in the ability of business to foster a culture of wellbeing for its people, support the communities in which it operates and find solutions for a sustainable economy that addresses the challenges of climate change and social inequality.
