We are excited to reconnect with friends and colleagues and make new contacts at the 62nd Annual Hawaii Tax Institute, taking place from November 2 to 6, 2025. If you plan to attend the conference or be in Honolulu during that time, please get in touch.

The premier tax and wealth transfer conference will feature three Withers speakers discussing important, current issues affecting international families: 

• Monday, November 3:  San Francisco-based partner Joy Chang will participate as a panelist in the China-US Alliance Program, presenting on "Pre-Immigration and Post-Immigration Planning for Chinese Families Moving to America." 

• Wednesday, November 5:  San Francisco-based partner Marsha Laine Dungog and Tokyo-based partner Eric Roose will present on the topic, "Recent Trends and Developments: International Tax and Wealth Transfer Planning for Globally Mobile Asian Families."  

In addition to these presenters, partners Dora Clarke from London and Susanna Kim from Los Angeles, along with lawyers Erin Gutierrez from Tokyo and Jennifer Silvius from San Francisco, will be in attendance.
