Aline Recktenwald

Aline is a senior associate in the private client and tax team.

Aline focuses her practice on wealth planning for high net worth clients. She counsels high-net-worth individuals, multi-jurisdictional families and closely-held businesses on U.S. and international tax, wealth preservation and succession planning matters. Her work includes preparing and implementing efficient pre-immigration tax planning, expatriation planning, planning for non-U.S. clients receiving U.S. income or holding U.S. assets, and also assisting non-U.S. Family Offices in structuring wealth management structures for non-U.S. families with U.S. beneficiaries. She also advises on pre and post-marital planning and the drafting of wills. Earlier in her career, Aline was an associate with a well-known law firm in New York and began her career at a prominent single-family office in Brazil.

Aline received her LL.M in International Tax from New York University School of Law and her Master's in Corporate Law from Fundacão Getúlio Vargas. She also holds a Bachelor 's in Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul.
