Barry is special counsel in our corporate team.

Barry focuses his practice on corporate, commercial, and securities law for both private and public companies. With extensive transactional and securities experience in New York and Los Angeles, Barry has worked on many sophisticated and high-profile transactions, as well as mergers and acquisitions, financings (debt and equity), joint ventures and securities offerings for middle market companies in a wide array of industries, including life sciences, real estate, media, blockchain, technology, cannabis, fashion and entertainment.

Barry also has particular experience in the formation and structuring of private investment funds, including private equity, VC and real estate funds, and the representation of funds in their investments in portfolio companies or real estate. In addition, Barry has advised numerous emerging growth companies from formation through their various stages of growth, including seed and venture capital financing, complex operating and stockholder agreements, employment contracts and equity incentive arrangements. In the course of his representations, Barry also counsels companies in connection corporate governance, federal and state securities laws, and other issues that commonly (or not so commonly) arise for companies while operating their businesses.
