Carlo Alberto is the vice-president and member of the Board of Directors of Indicam (the Italian brand owners and IP practitioners association) a member of the IP Rights in a Digital World and Statistics and Economics working groups of the Observatory of the European Union Office for intellectual property (EUIPO), and is also an expert for Italy at the French Union Des Fabricants.
Carlo Alberto is the Chair of the Milan01 Group for TIGER 21, the ultra-high net worth individuals worldwide association, and is Board Member of the Venice International Foundation, VIF, being the oldest foundation supporting art institutions in Venice.
His main areas of activity are the strategic advice in the IP field at large, the creation and management of complex anti-counterfeiting strategies and operations at an Italian and global level, IP litigation and Art Law at large. Over the past two decades, he has been the main point of contact for major Italian and foreign companies and individuals operating in various sectors: from fashion to design, from automotive to food & beverages, from eyewear to next generation tobacco products, from cryptocurrencies to NFTs, from art collectors and art-dealers to art-related institutions and museums.
Carlo Alberto is a third-generation art collector, with interests in a very wide space ranging from 4.800 BC (Calcolithic period) to post-war and contemporary art.
