Me in a minute
I want my clients to feel that I understand not only what the law says, but what they are ultimately trying to achieve.
I am very much a product of my international background; I am born to French/Australian and English/Swiss parents, was raised in France and Switzerland, pursued higher education in the United Kingdom and eventually began my career in Jersey. As such, I have a genuine curiosity about different cultures and perspectives, and a lasting interest in people whose lives do not fit neatly within traditional borders or structures.
That international perspective is one of the things that I enjoy the most about private client work. Every client brings their own combination of family, business, wealth and personal circumstances, and I particularly enjoy getting to know the person behind the instruction. I am naturally curious and like to understand the wider picture before getting into the detail, whether that means navigating different jurisdictions, advising across generations or helping a client plan for a significant change in their life.
My background in contentious trusts has taught me the importance of approaching sensitive issues with both precision and pragmatism. I bring the same approach to my advisory work: I want my clients to feel that I understand not only what the law says, but what they are ultimately trying to achieve.
