Secretary Hagar Himmel

Eugenia is an associate in the intellectual property, privacy and technology team of our Milan office.

She advises Italian and international clients across a wide range of industry sectors, including design and luxury furniture, agritech, food and beverage, beauty, fashion, digital technology, blockchain and start ups, assisting them in the protection, management and exploitation of their intangible assets.

In the field of intellectual property, Eugenia assists with the drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements involving trademarks, designs, copyright, licensing, IP driven collaborations, data licensing, R&D partnerships and the protection of know how. She also supports clients on filing and prosecution strategies, and handles contentious matters including trademark infringement, unfair competition, oppositions and interim proceedings, both at national and international level.

In the area of privacy and data protection, she advises organizations on GDPR compliance programs, data governance frameworks and privacy by design initiatives. Her work includes cross border data transfers, DPIAs, TIAs, digital product passports, blockchain based systems, supply chain audit platforms, CRM ecosystems and multi brand digital environments, as well as data processing assessments in complex operational contexts.

Eugenia also assists companies in the protection and strategic management of trade secrets and proprietary know how, particularly in the agritech, life sciences and industrial innovation sectors, advising on internal policies, NDAs, contractual frameworks and international licensing models.

She has also gained significant experience in the start up ecosystem , supporting early stage and high growth companies – particularly in the digital tech and agritech sectors – on the protection of IP assets, structuring of licensing and collaboration models, privacy compliance and data-driven business operations.

Me in a minute

Protecting value through legal precision

I work in areas where the value of an asset depends on rigorous analysis and sound legal strategy. Intellectual property and privacy require precision, structure and a clear understanding of how rights, data and technologies operate and interact.

I apply this approach to every matter I handle. I focus on the client’s objectives, identify the most effective legal tools to protect their assets and anticipate potential risks. My work is guided by a practical, business‑oriented mindset, aimed at delivering outcomes that are legally robust, strategically aligned and responsive to the client’s operational needs.
