Haiying Deng

Haiying is a paralegal in the Intellectual Property and Technology team.

Haiying supports clients and lawyers across the full lifecycle of intellectual property and technology matters. Her work includes trademark portfolio administration, evidence collation and documentation for filings and oppositions, and day to day matter management. She also assists on technology and data projects, preparing and tracking documentation aligned with PDPA and GDPR, and coordinates with colleagues when matters span jurisdictions. Haiying also has experience assisting the team in contractual advisory and commercial transactions, including advising and drafting commercial agreements and assisting with IP-related due diligence.

She trained with the firm in Intellectual Property, Technology and Civil Litigation (Dispute Resolution) in 2025, gaining hands on experience with hearing bundles, timelines and procedural requirements. Organised and responsive, she turns complex instructions into clear actions that keep matters moving efficiently and help clients meet tight deadlines.
