Helen is an associate in the litigation and international arbitration team. 

She advises corporate clients, family offices, high net-worth individuals and private clients on a broad range of contentious matters, with a particular focus on international arbitration and cross-border disputes.

Helen represents clients in commercial disputes, investigations and regulatory matters, and regularly assists with arbitration, litigation and mediation proceedings. Her practice frequently involves matters with cross-border elements spanning Hong Kong, Chinese Mainland and the United States.

Asset preservation and partnership disputes

Acted for high net worth individuals in complex partnership disputes, appeal proceedings and asset preservation matters, including cases involving worldwide Mareva injunctions.

Cryptocurrency business dispute

Represented a foreign company in an SIAC arbitration arising from an alleged large-scale fraud in connection with the sale and purchase of a cryptocurrency business, involving claims exceeding US$500 million.

High Court fraud proceedings

Represented a foreign company in Hong Kong High Court proceedings involving claims of fraud, conspiracy, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract and gross negligence, including defending jurisdictional challenges and assisting with injunction and receivership applications.

HKIAC commercial arbitrations

Acted for listed companies and other corporate clients in HKIAC arbitrations involving contractual and commercial disputes.

Hong Kong listed company shareholder dispute

Acted for a Hong Kong listed company in defending an urgent injunction application brought by a shareholder concerning internal management issues.

Regulatory investigation and enforcement matters

Advised clients in connection with investigations and regulatory matters involving the Securities and Futures Commission, the Hong Kong Police Force and the Independent Commission Against Corruption.
