Lauren is a senior associate in the litigation team.
Lauren's practice currently focusses on shareholder disputes, fraud and enforcement. As a dual qualified BVI and English litigator, Lauren's work tends to be high value and cross-border in nature, often involving urgent injunctive relief and coordination between various jurisdictions. She has been recognised by Chambers Global where she was described as 'absolutely excellent' with a 'good client manner and a very good instinct for the right answer'.
Me in a minute
When the opportunity came up to take a secondment in the Withers' BVI office, I jumped at the chance.
As a lawyer in London, I dealt with cases that touched on offshore jurisdictions and I'd always wonder what those places would actually be like in 'real' life. So when the opportunity came up to take a secondment in Withers' BVI office, I jumped at the chance.
I have never looked back: as well as being blown away by the natural unspoilt beauty of the Virgin Islands, I became hooked on the fast-paced and hard-fought nature of BVI work. Since 2014 I have enjoyed stints in BVI and London, working on both English and BVI cases (of course, often with an international element). I am currently based in London.
