Louis W. Fisher

Special Counsel | Los Angeles New York

Louis is special counsel in the litigation and arbitration team.

He is a seasoned legal strategist, with extensive experience litigating high-stakes disputes before all levels of state and federal courts, including class actions, multidistrict litigations, and other complex litigations. Louis has a track record of success at all stages of litigation—from pre-litigation dispute resolution through trial verdict and appeal. In addition, Louis maintains a robust pro bono practice, representing indigent clients in immigration appeals, civil rights lawsuits, and habeas corpus and criminal proceedings.

Earlier in his career, Louis served as a law clerk to three federal judges: Hon. Stephen Reinhardt (2016 – 2017) and Hon. Holly A. Thomas of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit (2022 – 2023); and Hon. J. Paul Oetken of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York (2017 – 2018). He has also served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at University of Southern California Gould School of Law, teaching US Common Law and Analysis.
