Luca is a partner in the asset finance team.
He works on a variety of matters involving both commercial aircraft and business jets. Luca regularly represents clients in connection with all manner of aircraft operating leases, aircraft sales and acquisitions, asset-backed financings, credit facilities and capital markets offerings, such as portfolio securitizations. He provides contractual advice to airlines, aircraft operators and leasing companies. In addition, Luca regularly advises private clients and ultra-high net worth individuals and their businesses in relation to the sale, purchase (including broker and back-to-back transactions), leasing and financing of new and used corporate aircraft.
Prior to joining Withers, he worked in leading international law firms in Hong Kong and Italy.
Luca is qualified to practice law in the United States (New York) and Italy (Milan).

US$2.2bn acquisition
Counselling investor on the successful US$2.2 billion acquisition of a minority interest in a global aircraft leasing business. The deal won the Airfinance Journal 2018 Overall Deal of Year.
Aircraft advice
Representing airlines, lessors, financiers and investors in respect of several new aircraft orders, operating leases, sale and lease back transactions, long-term facilities, pre-delivery payment facilities, ECA-supported financings, restructurings and engine swaps.
Private aviation
Assisting ultra-high net worth individuals, companies and financial institutions in relation to the sale, purchase, financing and leasing of private aircraft.
