Secretary Freya Foggo

Luke is a property litigation solicitor with extensive experience advising across both the commercial and residential property sectors, with a particular focus on secured lending, recoveries and enforcement.

Luke regularly acts for lenders and fixed charge receivers on the recovery of unpaid secured loans, providing strategic advice on complex, multi-million-pound facilities and maximising recoveries through enforcement action. As an Associate member of NARA (the Association of Property & Fixed Charge Receivers), Luke has developed a strong reputation in this specialist area.

Alongside his secured lending practice, he advises landowners on a wide range of property disputes, including dilapidations claims, business lease renewals, forfeiture, break clauses, rent and service charge recovery, and issues arising from tenant insolvency.

In addition, Luke has been involved in several high-profile injunction cases, including Vastint UK B.V. v Persons Unknown and INEOS v Persons Unknown, advising on strategy and enforcement in response to threatened unlawful occupation.

Experience

Me in a minute

I enjoy the variety and complexity of property litigation, from advising on the enforcement of multi-million-pound secured lending facilities to obtaining and enforcing urgent injunctive relief. Many of the matters I handle involve complex factual and legal issues, requiring the analysis of significant amounts of information and competing commercial considerations. I am particularly adept at distilling large amounts of information and identifying the root cause of a problem and translating that into clear, strategic advice that helps clients achieve their objectives as efficiently and effectively as possible.
