Meriel is head of the employment team. She is very attuned to the wide-ranging needs of senior executives and founders who are moving jobs, renegotiating their service agreements and (on occasion) in crisis. Along with her team, Meriel regularly acts for many senior executives and founders in the workplace who are making headlines.
Founders and senior executives are the mainstay of Meriel's practice, and she advises them on all aspects of employment and LLP law, including on contract negotiations, disputes, exits, post termination issues and agreeing compensation packages. She has extensive experience in team moves and investigations.
Meriel's work frequently involves complex, international and delicate issues for high profile clients particularly in technology, financial services, professional services, commodity trading, journalism, hospitality, and the fashion and luxury brand sectors.
Meriel's fluency in French and German together with her long standing contacts in other jurisdictions and specialisms enables her to put together a team of advisers often at short notice in order to advise those who are negotiating new contracts as well as those embroiled in investigations, crises and disputes.
Meriel is a trained mediator.
