Tommaso is a senior trademark attorney and heads the trademark filing & prosecution area for the intellectual property, technology & privacy team based in Milan.
He has fifteen years of experience in IP-related issues, covering all aspects connected with trademarks, domain names, designs, patents, copyright and unfair competition.
Tommaso is a trusted advisor for trademark filing strategies and prosecution, trademark clearances and pre-filing advice, anti-counterfeiting initiatives before national custom offices, online brand protection procedures, domain names disputes and contract negotiations.
He acts as Professional Representative before the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and the Italian Patent and Trademark Office (UIBM) for a wide range of national and international clients.
In 2016, he has been appointed by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) as Panelist in charge of resolving disputes regarding domain names and he currently operates as expert for the main national and international arbitration authorities, including the Czech Arbitration Court, the Milan chamber of Commerce and the Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Center.
Tommaso is the author of several articles about the protection of trademarks on the internet and regularly appears as a speaker at conferences and seminars on the subject of Intellectual Property.
