Vahe is a senior associate in the litigation and arbitration team.
Vahe is an experienced litigator and trial attorney who represents companies and individuals in high-stakes legal disputes. He regularly handles complex matters in federal and state courts, before arbitration tribunals, and in regulatory proceedings.
Vahe’s practice spans a wide range of civil and commercial litigation, including securities class actions, contract disputes, antitrust matters, employment disputes, real estate matters, trade secret misappropriation, and fiduciary duty matters. He also frequently advises companies on unfair competition issues in the employment context, including the enforceability of restrictive covenants, and assists clients in protecting and recovering confidential and proprietary information.
Vahe has a proven track record as a trial attorney. He was a member of the trial team that secured a full defense jury verdict for the cryptocurrency exchange Kraken in a wrongful termination action brought by a former employee. That victory was recognized as one of the Daily Journal’s “Top Verdicts of 2024.”
Vahe also served on the trial team that achieved a complete victory following a five-week jury trial, resulting in a $23 million judgment—including $8 million in punitive damages—on behalf of a limited partnership and its limited partners for the years-long fraud by the partnership’s general partner. Prior to joining Withers, Vahe practiced in leading international law firms and served as a judicial law clerk in the U.S. District for the Central District of California under the supervision of Hon. Patrick J. Walsh (Ret.).
Vahe received his J.D. from the University of California, Irvine School of Law. During law school, Vahe clerked for the Federal Trade Commission and the I.R.S. Office of Chief Counsel.
