Alex joined the firm from Diligent, a leading GRC SaaS provider, where he spent nearly 4 years, most recently as Assistant General Counsel.
Alex specialises in commercial arrangements involving intellectual property, technology and data, including rights acquisitions and disposals, portfolio structuring, licensing, procurement and the full range of related commercial agreements, with a particular emphasis on the sports, technology and innovation sectors. Alex also advises on data protection compliance strategies.

I've always wanted to be a lawyer although the reason I was so fascinated by the law was through watching criminal court dramas on tv.
I have steered clear of that particular field during my career, however.
My specific area of expertise requires both a detailed knowledge of the law but also strategic planning and most importantly, a key understanding of the commercial factors that drive business decisions.
My time in-house has definitely aided my experience of the latter. Although I have lived in North London for a while, I am a West Ham fan and have had a season ticket for most of my life.
