She assists the team across all aspects of TIED work. Rachel has a particular interest in the Court of Protection, working closely on a number of statutory will and capacity matters. She also enjoys the variety of trust and probate work as well as working with the team to find resolutions to what are often complex and deeply personal stories for our clients.
Rachel’s first seat was with the Residential Real Estate department, where she worked on all aspects of Residential Real Estate. Rachel assisted George Coleman on the firm’s largest enfranchisement claim and with the wider team on a number of leasehold and freehold transactions. Working with Henry Stuart, she co-authored a number of articles for the Sunday Times, addressing the real estate issues faced by their readers. During her seat she also enjoyed developing her interest in charity and probate work, working with Tom Hughes and the TEID team on the real estate aspects of probate disputes.
During her second seat Rachel sat with the Private Client and Tax team, working on a variety of trusts, wills and tax matters. She was involved in a number of matters involving advising on family limited partnerships and on family corporate structures. Her experience also covers a variety of matters dealing with probate work, domicile issues and international and domestic succession planning.
