Valentina is an associate in the intellectual property, technology & privacy team in Milan.

Before joining Withers, she worked for an Italian boutique IP law firm specialized in intellectual property and after that she joined a well-known fashion luxury group working as in-house legal in the IP department. She advises companies operating in the fields of fashion, design, beauty and luxury and her practice focuses on brand protection and anticounterfeiting work, IPR portfolio management and prosecution, trademark and design clearance, civil litigation and extrajudicial assistance concerning IP rights disputes such as trademarks, design, copyrights as well as unfair competition. She also gained experience in drafting and negotiating IP and marketing related agreements (i.e. trademark co-existence agreements, licenses, assignments, consultancy, service agreements).
