Foreign direct investment into Vietnam reached US$27.6 billion in 2025, according to the country's General Statistics Office. This marked the highest level in five years and reflects continued investor confidence in one of Southeast Asia's most dynamic markets. In 2025, of the newly licensed projects in Vietnam, Singapore was the largest investor, at US$4.84 billion, followed by China at US$3.64 billion.
