Our Latin America group is looking forward to connecting with colleagues and fellow advisors in São Paulo at the annual STEP LatAm 2026 conference, taking place September 16–18. If you plan to attend, please get in touch.

Focusing on the planning, structuring and management of wealth in Latin America, the conference will explore current issues facing international families in the region. If you are attending, we encourage you to join the session, "Wealth Tax, the True Effect," on September 17 at 11:05am, where international planning partner Giulia Cipollini will debate on a panel the pros and cons of wealth tax, the real effects of implementing it, and how advisors should approach the issue. With some jurisdictions implementing or considering wealth taxes aiming to redistribute income among the population, this will be an insightful and exciting session.
