Webinar: The unified framework on tax reform - What estate and wealth planning professionals need to know

On September 27, The Gang of Six released the 9-page Republican framework for tax reform with an aggressive agenda for passage by the end of 2017. Included in the framework is the wholesale repeal of estate and generation-skipping tax transfer taxes as well as significant business and personal income tax changes. This webinar, co-hosted by Withers Bergman LLP and Trusts & Estates, provided a high-level overview of the key provisions of the Republican framework as well as commentary on how those proposed changes may affect current and future client advice for estate planning attorneys and wealth management professionals. The webinar highlighted possible year-end actions and considerations for clients.
