We are a people business. Engaging everyone in the Withers world is vitally important if we are to make significant progress and reduce our environmental impact.

We fully appreciate that we are all on this journey together and as a responsible business we must embed good practice at all levels to ensure all our people are able to contribute to our efforts.
To do this, we have committed to integrating sustainability into all physical operations through our Environmental Sustainability Strategy. Our environmental sustainability objectives – low carbon, circular economy and education and engagement – showcase our environmentally conscious philosophy and aim to enhance the experience of all our colleagues, clients and visitors.
Our environmental sustainability objectives
Our sustainability objectives set out the overarching principles of our strategy with aims and associated indicators for each outlining the pathway to achieve them with progress tracked and success measured. All indicators have a target and pioneering level of performance derived from best practice industry guidance including BREEAM, LEED and WELL. Each indicator and its associated performance level are intended to be flexible — our strategy will be continuously progressed and updated as lessons are learnt. Industry guidance can often change and as each indicator is implemented on projects, we expect performance levels to be adjusted accordingly.
