US Corporate Law News: NFA develops required proficiency programs for swaps

The National Futures Association is developing a required proficiency program for persons engaged in swap related activities, in the form of an online learning program with an embedded examination. 

This program will be applicable to all persons designated as swaps associated persons at futures commission merchants, introducing brokers, commodity pool operators, commodity trading advisers and those who act at swap dealers. The program is expected to launch in early 2020. For more information, see here.
