US relief bill's 'straightforward' exec comp tweak has issues

A recent provision to the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 caps the future deduction for executive compensation at $1 million for the 10 highest-paid employees of a publicly traded company, suggesting some companies with highly paid non-officers could fall victim.
