Simon focuses on investment funds, covering private equity, credit, real estate, infrastructure, venture capital, hedge, crypto and RMB-USD funds, representing both investment managers and investors in Asia.He also advises on licensing applications and ongoing regulatory and compliance obligations relevant to investment managers. Simon has experience advising on fund offerings in Hong Kong, the PRC, the United States and Australia.
In addition, Simon specializes in financial regulations and other legal issues applicable to investment managers, fintech companies, financial institutions, banks, and family offices. In particular, with the continued growth of emerging tech / fintech in the financial services sector, he regularly advises clients on the regulatory and contractual implications of innovative business ventures.
