London office demand defies doom and gloom

Many professionals and politicians had predicted that Brexit would result in a massive loss of jobs in the City and leave the City as ghost town.

However, according to JLL and with less than four months to go before Brexit, banks and financial services are looking for more new office space in the City than at any time since 2015.

In fact, overall take up across all sectors is expected to be slightly ahead of last year's 6.5 million sq ft.
