Withers welcomes experienced wealth planning advisor Christine Brown in San Francisco

14 April 2021

International law firm Withers has added wealth planning attorney Christine E. Brown as Special Counsel to its San Francisco team. Christine joins the firm from Fiduciary Trust International, where she was Managing Director and Trust Counsel, and has previously worked with UBS and Credit Suisse amongst others.

Christine has nearly two decades of experience advising high net worth individuals on wealth, estate planning, succession and philanthropy matters. Her practice also includes acting as fiduciary counsel on trust and estate administrations.

Withers has been actively growing its San Francisco team, welcoming new office managing partner Marsha Dungog, who advises on international income, trusts and estate tax planning, and partner Doug Mandell, who heads the firm’s Founders Practice.

Marsha comments: “We’re really pleased to be adding Christine to the wealth planning team in our San Francisco office. Her deep experience of advising high net worth individuals and families on their affairs really bolsters and complements the strengths within our team. Our west coast tax and estate planning practice continues to build on the services and skills we can offer to our clients.

Christine adds: “It’s exciting to be joining Withers at this time. The firm is one of the leading international practices for high net worth families, founders and executives and I’m delighted to be working with talented colleagues in the US and across the world.
