Christine is special counsel in the private client and tax team.
With 20 years of experience advising high-net-worth individuals and families in Northern California, Christine’s practice focuses on all areas of sophisticated estate and gift tax planning, estate administration, wealth transfer, and philanthropy. She is also experienced in advising on revocable trusts, grantor retained annuity trusts (GRATs), dynasty trusts, family limited partnership (FLP) agreements, irrevocable life insurance trust (ILITs) and directed trusts.
Prior to joining Withers, Christine held a position as managing director and wealth counsel of an international trust company, where she acted as a wealth planning strategist to high-net-worth families in Northern California and delivered strategies designed to meet client goals.
Earlier in her career, she was counsel in the private clients, trusts, and estates group of a US-based law firm. She also founded her own law firm focusing on estate planning, probate, and trust administration matters.
Christine is a board member of the San Francisco Estate Planning Council. She earned her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago, School of Law and a B.A. from Michigan State University.
