Doron is a corporate partner and US head of the Data Innovation, Privacy and Cybersecurity Practice.
Doron assists clients – from start-ups to multinationals – to address and overcome complex and sometimes frightening situations involving privacy, data security and information technology. A former software developer and network administrator, Doron was named a “Cybersecurity Trailblazer” by the National Law Journal. He was one of the first lawyers in the US to be certified as a Privacy Law Specialist by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), accredited by the American Bar Association. (The IAPP is not affiliated with any governmental authority.) His IT background allows him to thoroughly understand his clients’ operations, and to evaluate the risks they face. The combination of his business experience, technical understanding and legal knowledge allows him to provide the most informed, cogent and practical advice to clients.
As the former managing partner of an internet advertising company, Doron’s unique skill set allows him to provide invaluable advice and insight to clients on their advertising, marketing and promotions programs to make sure they not only comply with the law, but are also effective and compelling. Doron is also an adjunct professor at New York Law School where he teaches Fashion Law and Technology, a course that explores the interplay between the law and emerging technologies in the fashion industry.
