Tyler is an associate in the litigation and arbitration team.

His dispute resolution practice includes representation and advice relating to complex litigation before federal and state courts, international arbitration, and public international law.  Tyler is a member of our Chambers-ranked Crypto-Asset Disputes team and has acted for companies and individuals in a variety of civil matters including partnership and shareholder disputes, business torts, real estate disputes, fraudulent transfer, misappropriation, cross-border enforcement of arbitral awards, and discovery in aid of foreign proceedings. Tyler has also advised companies and individuals on the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, anti-money laundering, US sanctions regimes, and media and reputational matters. His practice spans various sectors including financial services, real estate, technology, digital assets, and cryptocurrency.

In addition, Tyler maintains an active pro bono practice, and has advised clients on the law of the sea, international human rights law and international criminal law.  Tyler is also a member of the Historical Society of the New York Courts. 

Tyler earned his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law where he was a member of the San Diego Law Review.

Track record

Real estate fraud dispute

Secured a complete victory including a $23 million judgment, following a five-week jury trial concerning a Silicon Valley real estate fraud dispute, on behalf of a limited partnership and its limited partners for the years-long fraud by the partnership’s general partner.  For more information on the trial and the verdict read more here.
