Vanessa is an associate in the private client and tax team.

She specialises in trust and estate planning, as well as on cross-border probate matters. 

Vanessa advises high net-worth individuals with connections to the US and the UK, and institutional trustees, addressing a broad spectrum of private client and international estate planning issues. Her services encompass the preparation of wills, enduring powers of attorney, asset protection, US expatriation and guidance on Hong Kong tax matters. She also assists with wealth structuring through the creation and administration of trusts and other bespoke estate planning structures tailored to individual needs. 

Furthermore, Vanessa has extensive experience in assisting personal representatives in the application for Hong Kong grants of representation, as well as handling relevant post-grant matters relating to the deceased's estate. She also works with foreign counsels in the administration of the deceased's estate in other jurisdictions.
