Me in a minute
I find myself challenged every day and I am always learning something new.
I didn’t always want to be a lawyer. I spent four years studying Classics and once hoped I might make a career for myself in the glamourous showrooms of London’s auction houses dealing in ancient artefacts. My natural inclination for analysing complex, occasionally mystifying texts, however, was excellent preparation for a career in law. I was soon drawn to private client work for the endless human interest element and the satisfaction of helping clients plan for the future and for their families.
At Withers I am privileged to work with the best in the private client industry. Private client is a genuinely fascinating area of law to be in right now, and our clients and the problems they face are a weathervane of what is going on across the world, politically, economically and socially. I find myself challenged every day and I am always learning something new.
