Xiang is an associate in the private client and tax team.
With a background in estate planning and transfer tax planning, Xiang focuses his practice on designing, drafting, administering and restructuring (non)grantor trusts for U.S. and international clients.
He also advises high-net-worth clients and intermediaries on income tax implications of expatriation from the U.S., tax residency planning, and asset holding/investment structuring.
Xiang was nominated as an affiliate member of the New York City Bar Trusts, Estates and Surrogate's Court Committee.
Prior to Withers, Xiang was a trusts and estates associate at the Greenwich office of another Connecticut headquartered law firm.
