Assisting with tribunal proceedings in respect of a Leasehold Reform Act 1967 claim (the proceedings settled shortly before the exchange of witness statements) involving complicated valuation issues.
Acted for a housing developer defending court proceedings which challenged the forfeiture of purchasers’ deposits.
Defending court proceedings concerned with the interpretation of an unusual break clause in the context of opposed lease renewal proceedings.
Issuing possession proceedings in respect of a Rent Act tenancy which raised succession issues, and assisting with settling the proceedings satisfactorily and at an early stage.
Successfully appealed an ‘Asset of Community Value’ designation and defended a statutory challenge to planning permission (in Robinson v Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government  EHWC 634 (Admin)).
Preparing for and helping to run a three week planning inquiry in relation to Athlone House, Hampstead.
