He also advises on green financing, including on the first green loan and the first sustainability-linked loan that were used to finance data center developments in Japan.

His clients include real estate investment funds, REITs, sovereign wealth funds and real estate lenders. Recent representative transactions include advising Secured Capital and its real estate investment funds on its transactions in Japan and China, including hard asset and loan acquisitions, buy-backs and workouts of distressed debt, and advising Shinsei Bank on a major real estate loan restructuring.
