Prior to joining Withers, Richard worked at the Financial Conduct Authority within its Enforcement and Market Oversight Division. Richard was involved in a range of high profile outcomes, including the LIBOR scandal and the global settlements that followed.
Richard also specialised in perimeter work, investigating unregulated collective investment schemes and fraudulent investments targeting UK investors.
Richard’s clients are owner managed corporates, entrepreneurs, principals and owners of regulated firms. A growing area of Richard’s corporate and regulatory practices are the frontier sectors and disrupters such as fintech, alternatives and crypto assets.
