Me in a minute
I believe the best achievements and successes are reached by utilising the combined skills and motivation of a team, never by just one person.
I am a highly motivated young professional who is always keen to learn. I am driven, competitive and ambitious and I aspire to deliver to the best of my ability for my team. I am motivated by challenges and will go above and beyond to deliver in my work whilst also continuing to learn and develop.
A core value of mine is teamwork. I believe the best achievements and successes are reached by utilising the combined skills and motivation of a team, never by just one person, there is no "I" in team as they say. My belief in teams has come from an upbringing and background in sport, I spent a lot of time growing up around and playing with sports professionals, where it has reinforced the importance of strong team leadership and utilising the strengths of a group. This is very applicable to my role, especially working on large estates across multiple departments and geographies.
When growing up, my dream was to be a professional cricketer. I discovered law when starting with an apprenticeship at Withers after choosing not to follow the university route. I quickly found that a lot of what I loved about playing cricket; working in diverse team of people, delivering under pressure, and teams coming together to deliver a result, were all present at Withers and in Law. I fell in love with the work, and I have not looked back, currently on a path to qualify as a solicitor. I work in the Probate team where I support individuals and charities with estates. I love the connection that you have with people's families, family is a central value of mine and therefore I personally make a concerted effort to ensure estates are treated with care and diligence. I also enjoy the challenging technical issues that can arise when managing an estate.
