He focuses on the tax aspects of debt capital market and equity capital market transactions (IPOs, asset finance transactions, structured finance products and derivatives). He advises domestic and cross-border industrial groups in corporate taxation, mergers and acquisitions, tax planning, transfer pricing issues and indirect taxes. He also gained an extensive experience in relation to tax litigation issues.
Stefano is the Senior Counsel of the Italian Minister of Finance for international tax matters in connection with the Italian Presidency of the G20 and a member of the Advisory Board of the Belt and Road Initiative Tax Administration Cooperation Mechanism.
In addition, he is Adjunct Professor of International Tax Law at the University of Milan Bicocca, Visiting Professor in International Tax Law at the University of International Business and Economics of Beijing (People’s Republic of China) and Lecturer at the Adv. LL.M. Program in International Tax Law of the University of Amsterdam (the Netherlands).
