Josefina is currently a trainee solicitor in the White-Collar Defence and Investigations team.
In this seat she acts for both individuals and corporates in respect to criminal matters including financial and serious general crime, supporting the team in financial investigations or proceedings before the court.Josefina previously completed a seat in the Corporate team, assisting with a range of corporate matters, with a particular focus on providing advice to start-ups, entrepreneurs, investors and high-growth companies - from seed investments to later stage funding in the venture capital and tech sectors.
Josefina's first seat was in the Commercial Real Estate team where she worked on a wide range of transactional matters, including landlord and tenant work, developments, acquisitions and disposals for charities, commercial institutions, and high net worth individuals.
Prior to completing the LPC, Josefina worked for different charities and international organisations. Most recently, this included working for an institution investing in scientific research and innovation – partnering with some of the UK’s pre-eminent and upcoming scientists in the United Kingdom and beyond. She has also worked for a leading global technology company in the Middle East.

I am a cultural hybrid, fluent in several languages and with experience living and working across four continents
Prior to completing my GDL and LPC, I studied a BA in International Relations with French and Arabic at the University of Exeter and a Master's in International Development at Sciences Po, Paris.
My diverse professional experiences include working to support displaced populations in Brazil and the Middle East and managing programmes to invest in leading scientists undertaking cutting-edge research. In 2016, I also founded an organisation that celebrates the roots and potential of African diaspora communities worldwide.
