Audrey is an associate in the private client and tax team.

She advises affluent individuals and families as part of a multi-disciplinary practice which includes estate planning, single family offices, trusts, wills, global tax structuring and Singapore tax incentives, immigration options, family governance, probate and other estate-related applications to the Singapore courts. She also advises families and non-profit organisations on setting up philanthropic structures to facilitate charitable giving in Singapore and overseas.

Prior to joining Withers KhattarWong, Audrey was an associate in the tax and private client team of one of the largest law firms in Singapore, where she advised on a range of income tax, GST and stamp duty issues, as well as tax disputes with the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore.

Assisted clients to establish single family offices and apply for a suitable Singapore fund tax incentive and/or licensing exemption.

Charitable foundations, tax and regulatory issues

Assisted clients to apply for Singapore permanent residency status under the Global Investor Programme (GIP) in connection with their intended investments in Singapore.

Trust, will and lasting power of attorney advice

Advised clients on setting up trusts, preparing wills, letters of wishes and lasting powers of attorney as part of their holistic estate planning.

Assisted clients with cross-border tax planning and restructuring of entities for tax efficiency and wealth protection purposes.

Advised clients on structuring charitable foundations and the tax and regulatory issues, including applying for registered charity status in Singapore.

Ultra-high net worth family

Assisted an ultra-high net worth family to establish a donor-advised fund for their charitable giving.

Singapore court grant of probate

Assisted clients to apply to the Singapore court for grant of probate and/or letters of administration in relation to estates of deceased persons.
