Marc is a senior associate in the litigation and arbitration team.

Marc's disputes experience spans across several areas, and he has acted for clients in contractual disputes; shareholders' disputes; breaches of fiduciary duties; commercial fraud; defamation; conspiracy; and contested divorce.

Having been involved in a broad spectrum of disputes, Marc is able to advise on all stages of the resolution process (from pre-action to enforcement) and develop strategic solutions for clients across different industries. Where necessary, he also contemplates problem points and litigation risks in order to prevent disputes from even crystallizing.

Separately, Marc has also assisted in cases involving criminal offences under the Penal Code 1871 and the Misuse of Drugs Act 1973.

Advised a multi-national electronics hardware manufacturer in a dispute with an electronics component supplier and a leading Chinese consumer electronics company arising out of defective products and a breach of confidentiality

Multi-national online music distribution company

Advised a multi-national online music distribution company in a dispute with a digital asset platform arising out of a breach of token sale agreement

Copyright infringement claims

Acted for a photography rights management company in copyright infringement claims against numerous corporate entities arising out of the unauthorised publication of images

Employment dispute

Acted for a performing arts academy in an employment dispute with its employee arising out of a failure to make timely payment of salary and wrongful dismissal.

Defamation and harassment claims

Acted for a construction company in defamation and harassment claims against an individual arising out of posts published on several online platforms regarding a construction project.

Dormitory provider

Acted for a dormitory provider in a dispute with its directors arising out of breaches of a shareholders' agreement, breaches of directors' duties and conspiracy to commit fraud.
